Drop-off Times: Unless you have booked a collection service, you may drop off your pieces for firing any time of day, but all pieces must be dropped off before 6 pm the day prior to your firing.

Private Firings: For temperatures other than Cone 06, Cone 6, or Cone 10, book a Private firing.

Liability: We are not responsible for damaged or lost goods, or damage due to warping, exploding, cracking, etc., during firing.

Drying Time: Pieces must be sufficiently dried before firing. Undried pieces will not be fired due to the risk of explosion.

Unsuitable Work: Work that may warp or explode will not be fired.

Materials: Only clay and glaze materials are fired. Other materials require prior approval and may incur additional fees.

Glazing: The base and 5mm above must be free of glaze unless arrangements are made for firing on a prop.

Labelling: All work and boxes must be clearly labelled with your name.

Temperature Adjustments: Not available during communal firings. Private firings required for specific temperatures.

Damages: Charges may apply for damages to the kiln or others' work caused by your pieces.

Collection: Work must be collected within one month of firing or it will be disposed of.

Firing Schedule: We will determine the firing schedule based on our discretion and the needs of the kiln. While we will make every effort to accommodate specific timelines, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do so. If you have a specific deadline, please let us know as soon as possible and we will inform you whether or not we can accommodate your request.

Rush Orders: A rush order is defined as a request for firing within 5 days or less that is not scheduled. Rush orders must be for a full kiln load. If you do not have a full kiln load, you will still be charged for a full kiln load, plus an additional 25% rush order fee. This fee covers the additional time, effort, and resources required to accommodate the rush order. Please note that rush orders are subject to availability and may not always be possible to accommodate.

Kiln Maintenance: We may need to perform maintenance on the kiln from time to time, which may result in delayed firing schedules. We will inform you of any delays as soon as possible.
